Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru.)

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • Sadly, as much as it's a joke in this commentary, it is.

We went from Lawrence King and his ring in the 80's and early 90's to Epstein in the 90's and 00's, and both were publicly and evidently connected to the highest levels of the US government. King's ring also had mysterious deaths, including the lead investigator and his son being killed in a plane crash.

  • Religion is clearly the best grift.

If he were a Catholic priest he'd have the entire international power of the RCC protecting him. Dude picked the wrong church.

  • And, meanwhile, my friends who think themselves liberal also oppose any kind of regulation of social media.

    I don't get it.

  • Y'all, the videos he made are absolute bangers.

  • Same thing happened when Alabama tried what Donald is doing. Mass deportations are very disruptive.

Politicians love them because of the easy, performative cruelty and most politicians are wealthy and insulated from the economic effects, but increased prices, empty schools, and crops dying in the field for lack of field workers have a dramatic effect on local economies.

  • after his year long backstabbing tour.

It's wild that someone with his status hasn't figured out that maybe we shouldn't bully every single country in the world, if only out of self-preservation and our own self-interest.

I really hate that we as a people no longer care if our presidents have functioning brains.

  • I remember these discussions being had in the 90's, and the excuse was always: "But it'll cost a lot and take decades."

And now here we are. Decades.

  • I hate that our country is run by the dumbest people and they're also massive douche bags.

  • It probably is just a matter of time before he gets the Jenna Bush treatment.

  • That is not a man.

  • That is quite a collection of utterly useless and evil morherfuckers.

  • It was designed to handle one party: rich, white landowners. That's very plain in our founding documents, and why the power of the people is so tightly constrained. And it wasn't long after that found that Washington himself set our military on our own discontented farmers.

  • Oh it garnered remarks, all right.

Sadly, that's all it garnered. The US has a three-branch government symbolically only, and our only real power as a people is local.

  • Depends on whether she's opining privately or publicly.

Privately she's said some pretty awful things about him that are absolutely deserved. But in public, she recanted and lined up behind him, which is really disappointing. She could have been helpful to stopping his appointment but now she's party not only to murders happening globally, but the deaths of American reservists who shouldn't be at war in the first place.

  • The news is just desperate to not have to report on all the ass Mamdani is kicking.

  • You're right. It's almost the line word-for-word.

Are we sure it wasn't AI?

  • It could happen, but I doubt it. The last time the US had a legitimate anti-war movement, it was in large part due to the draft.

  • Nothing more American than a draft dodger sending others to die.

  • "It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it works out for him."
