Reminds me of the time my inlaws switched to Patriot Mobile to get away from the "liberals at AT&T". I don't know which part of the grift is the most laughable.
A.) The fact that AT&T is not at all "liberal" and is very supportive of conservative politics.
B.) The fact that Patriot Wireless is an MVNO and at that time operated solely on AT&T's infrastructure, so now your money is going to AT&T AND a third party middle-man.
Definitely not exclusive to the US but still a significant and shameful part of our history.

One of the few accurate things Trump has said was that he could "shoot someone in the middle of fifth avenue and not lose any votes." He pulled the phrase out of his ass but I think he was correct. His base either chooses to ignore his lifetime of scumbaggery or they know and just don't care.
I doubt there's anything Putin has on him that would turn off the MAGA crowd. And I'm sure he's done some truly horrible shit that we don't know about.
His supporters don't care. They lack empathy. It has been repeatedly demonstrated that the only way they will care is if his poor decisions impact them in a very personal, tangible way.
There are plenty of people out there who believe gay people choose to be gay. Nevermind that straight people didn't choose to be straight and can't just will themselves into being attracted to people of the same sex.
It's such a a simple concept and yet I have to admit there was a point in my life where this had not occured to me until a friend of mine, who was gay, politely pointed it out. It made me seriously reconsider much of what I was taught about human sexuality.
Maybe put that firearm in a safe. Or better yet, get rid of it. Of all the things that say, "I am not a responsible gun owner", getting shot by your dog has got to be pretty high up on the list.
Petty revenge and siphoning off taxpayer money. Two birds, one stone.
