  • Not quite. Unfortunately the leadership in Israel is pretty representative of the population.

  • I'm single, but I take it to stop myself rolling out of bed at night.

  • His staff are on record as saying they call him "the cunt" when he's not around. I forget which interview that was but it was a former staff member on a TV interview.

  • That all makes sense to me. Our history teacher taught us in school that power corrupts (people) and absolute power corrupts absolutely. I thought he was cynical at the time, but certainly far too many people are corrupted by power.

  • But isn’t Trump the product of Euro-American society (or roughly half)?

  • You’re right to be precise. But I also think of people who followed, like from my country (Ireland). Some were destitute, but many have done some pretty vile stuff either against minorities or in support of the empire. So while the Irish state wasn’t technically involved, the people don’t exactly go there to lift up Native or African Americans. There’s a book called How the Irish Became White that explores this. And I know the Scottish are famous for their part in Empire too.

  • Yes. The worst thing to happen to America isn't Trump, it's Europeans.

  • "Radioactive shrimp from Walmart" sounds like good sci-fi.

Joking aside, Walmart is a prolific human rights abuser. People in not only USA, but Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, and China have been reported to have intensive labor exploitation and abuse.

Forced labor, wage theft, sexual harassment, and sweatshop conditions with extremely low pay and long hours are among reports. Also, forced prison labor in Southeast Asia linked to their suppliers, allegations involving Uyghur forced labor in China, ... just .. ugh.

  • There are over 3,000 billionaires worldwide, with a combined net worth exceeding $16 trillion.

  • Even minding one’s own business while the world is as it is could be considered evil, with those kind of resources at their disposal

  • I wonder if he would even know that Greenland exists if his handlers hadn’t pointed it out to him and said they want it.

  • So some Zionist leaders negotiated the exit of Jewish people from Nazi Germany is what I get from that discussion. Like EU leaders today are negotiating with Trump. Is that the point you’re trying to make? I wouldn’t call Europeans Trump collaborators.

  • I don’t think that’s right. The Haavara agreement was pragmatic, not ideological. Those groups were not allies and the Nazis targeted all Jews (because it was a racist policy, not a political one).

  • That is so clever. I’m almost speechless reading the article. He took an estranged community and turned them into role models for the kids.

It would be nice if they expand beyond just men too.
