Suggestion: Make defeatism and minimizing an offense in this community.

Hi y'all,

Instead of letting it stand or derail the threads with people posting counter-arguments, I think this behavior should be considered an offense.

I'm talking about things like "the release of the Epstein files won't change anything."

It's mimicking the Trump Administrations downplaying ala "Are you still talking about the Epstein files?"

It's also indistinguishable from efforts by malicious actors.

Everyone can post, view and discuss things around the Epstein files. But it provides zero value to react with defeatism.

These thoughts, if genuine, can be kept to themselves, or if they they really want to, there's political discussion communities, etc.

This kind of activity can be used in virtually every political effort to undermine it.

I know this is extra mod work. But at least having it out there, as a three-strike system or something gives the option to shut it down.

To add another argument, this could show up in every single thread here, the same basic idea. Should this really take any focus in this community away from what's actually being posted? This community is about the Epstein Files after all, so what's the point of potentially hearing again and again that it's all essentially pointless?

Thank you.
