Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.
I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.
ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru.)
Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.
Leave it to the New York Times, the "paper of record", to take these important initial steps to legitimize the world's most horrid human rights abuses.
Is it okay to make money off prisons and concentration camps?
Best to call their local office and speak to a human. At least that way your position gets recorded, but be nice to the person who answers the call. It's generally not the interns' fault that the legislator's an ass.
This is why, whenever someone talks about Russia, or Syria, or North Korea, there's always a thought hanging out in the back of my head that our government thinks those governments should kill their citizens the civilized way: via capitalism.
I think it's easy to romanticize Obama in moments like these, but he was all about beating on the poor too.
Remember how he got behind the brutalization of Occupy, or when he went to Flint and pretended to sip a glass of water as a stunt? Imagine walking into THAT community and pulling that shit? That's some Marie Antoinette shit right there.
For all his charisma and rhetoric, he was also in on the grift, taking $400,000 bribes for speeches too.
Yes, Trump is worse, but the Clintons, Obamas, and Bidens of the world paved the shit road so the Trumps of the world could run amok.
But I think we both know that if he caught something he'd still get it treated privately and lie about it publicly, lest his grift be endangered, but I'd love it if he got polio and had to try and keep it quiet.
Also a good time to remember that there are no good billionaires.
